In my studio, another kind of transformation has been taking place: I've been literally painting over pieces of my past. Reclaiming old business cards from my corporate years – remnants of a former identity – I let my hands play with color in 3-4 minute bursts of pure, intuitive painting. This act of transforming old into new creates one-of-a-kind artworks, each a vibrant canvas of rebirth.

And then, these two worlds meet: I randomly select a numbered Morning Scribble from my journal and, with my non-dominant hand (to preserve its raw, authentic spirit), I hand-write that wisdom message onto the reverse side of a uniquely painted card. Each piece seems destined to find exactly the wisdom it was meant to carry – a tiny portal to presence, a tangible reminder that nothing in our lives is wasted, and that we hold the power to transform anything old into something beautifully new.

I've created a collection of 80+ such pieces, and looking at them now, I feel a profound sense of purpose: These aren't meant to stay in my studio.
